A national information line has been launched for people wishing to find out more about the 100,000 Genomes Project.

The information line will supplement the support that potential participants and participants receive from their local NHS Genomic Medicine Centres – providing a resource to answer questions.

Eligible potential participants can be referred to the information line with any questions they have about taking part in the Project. The information line can answer ad-hoc questions or people can book an appointment to go through the consent materials in detail.

Current participants and members of the public can also call the information line with questions or queries about taking part in the project.

The number is 0800 389 8221, and the line is open from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday

Please note the information line can’t tell you if you are eligible to take part in the 100,000 Genomes Project or give individual medical advice.
