Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement in Research Lead

Margaret is a physicist by background with experience in teaching, medical physics and research in breath analysis for diagnosis of liver disease. Her patient advocacy experience is in Hyperemesis Gravidarum, and she is a trustee of the charity Pregnancy Sickness Support. She conducts and publishes patient-led research, is a co-author on Royal College of Obs/Gynae Green Top Guidelines and is a patient advisor on the NIHR HTA funded trial, EMPOWER.

Margaret is advising on the WMGMC strategy for Patient and Public Involvement, working closely with the Education and Public Engagement Project Officer to ensure that the patient voice is an integral part of the work of the WMGMC.
